Who we are

SwipeMeIn provides an online service for attendance, shift planning, leave, payroll and team communication. For data your employer puts into SwipeMeIn, your employer is the controller and SwipeMeIn is the processor. For website visitors and customer account data, SwipeMeIn is the controller.

What we collect

Account data (name, email, phone, language), work data entered by employers (shifts, clock-in times, leave, pay, documents), technical data (IP address, device, browser) and website statistics. We do not collect or store fingerprints, face images or other biometric data β€” passkeys are verified on the employee's device.

Why

To provide the service, to secure accounts, to bill customers, to answer support requests and to improve the website. The legal bases are the contract, legal obligations of employers (records, payroll) and legitimate interests (security, statistics).

How long

Messages and photos are deleted after 30 days unless pinned; location and IP of clock-ins after a short period; attendance after 2 years by default; payroll records as long as the law of the employer's country requires. Employers can export their data at any time.

Where

Data is stored in the European Union. Processors we use (hosting, email delivery, payments) are bound by data processing agreements.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data, and object to processing. Employees should first contact their employer. Contact: [email protected]. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
